Can u just put the lights in trees. palms and plants, if it rains is it dangerous, will they burn the plants, I read that a lady laid them on her lawn, do they have to be attached to hooks or sticks as I'm too old to get up a ladder, also I have to plug the power adapter from inside as have no power point at front which means I would have to leave a window or door open? Can the wire fit under doors or something?
Christmas Fairy indoor/outdoor bud lights?
If it says on the packaging that they are suitable for outside they will have a transformer which reduces the voltage to low voltage, they will not burn anything or catch fire if it rains. They will not need to be put on hooks or sticks, so you don't need to go up a ladder!
The cable should be thin enough to go under a door or through a window opening without damaging the door/window, or without being damaged when the door/window is closed.
If the packaging says for indoor use only, obviously don't use them outside!
Hope this helps.
Reply:If the strand of lights is for indoor/outdoor use, you can put them outside. If it rains, they won't set anything on fire. CHECK THE CORD FIRST. Common sense says not to use frayed cords or anything like that. As for the cord, drill a hole in the base of the window and close the window over the cord. That way, you can still close the window, air won't get in, and you can still plug up your lights.
Merry Christmas!! Hope it helps.
