Tattoo on ur body?

I watched this show on tv called Miami Ink. Abt ppl getting tattooed, it's v interesting to see most ppl like to put in their body for the memory of the dead including pets. And all at least the size of ur palm. Isnt that something?

Then there's this lady who wanna get the look of a leopard, so she's gonna have her body tattooed something like polka dots all over her body .... amazing.

Tattoo on ur body?
Not to sure if this is really a question or just a statement about your facination with the artistry of tattooing!? Now for the most part, people get tattoo's to represent who they are or what they stand for, to remember those who were dear to them and passed away, or to remember certain life changing events that were special to them. There is often a feeling of joy and pride involved with a good piece, knowing that you can always look at it and remember what it was that so important to you when you got it. Portraits of departed loved ones are alot more permanent, and cannot be ruined as easily as a standard photograph, and the thought of knowing a little piece of them will live on through you, can be a form of closure. I have several tattoo's and I know they won't look as great as when I first got them when I'm old and saggy, but they'll still remind me of I youth I once cherished and imbraced. As far a leopard lady, to each there own, if it makes her happy, so be it. It should be noones choice but her own. As for infections in tattoos, that requires proper after care. Let's face it a tattoo is an open wound and should be treated like such until it is healed. Most tattoo's generally heal in a week or two, and if you are that lazy as to not treat it properly in that short of time, maybe you shouldn't get one in the first place. As for hepetitis, it is very rare to get from tattoo's if you go to a sanitized, well maintained shop. Do your reasearch, demand steralized pre package needles, request to see all equipment being used to insure sterility. Common procedure for ink application is to use ink wells, or small holding cups (about the size of a very small thimble) to hold the ink for the tattoo. This insures little waste, if more is needed, more can be added, and prevention of cross contamination of the ink, as the ink wells and any unused ink are thrown out, and not returned to the ink bottles. I hope this gave you a little more information and insight into the world of tattoo artistry. Remeber, good tattoo's aren't cheap, and cheap tattoo's aren't good!
Reply:Yes just imagine how those dots are going to look when she gets old. a dot sag here, a dot sag there. It showed on one show how people with tattoo's look after they start getting older...sure did not look the same.
Reply:I think tattoos are wierd whats the point of getting one it doesn't make you cool. It's like getting 1,000 shots. Plus once it's on it won't come off. It can but it cost a fortune to get it removed. I have seen miami inc though it's a very intresting show I watch it sometimes when it's on.
Reply:I don't know if i could ever get a tattoo...it's permanant and what if i changed my mind later in life? I was thinking about getting one until i thought about when i was old then it wouldnt look the same....at least to me it wouldnt.
Reply:I still don't get it... Why do woman especially get tattooed? For me personally I would not want to put one on my body. I think, no," I know it would look trashy on me." My hubby has my name on his chest and it looks cool but to tattoo all over is really gross even on a man. And if my hubby had not done it a long time ago I would not want him to ever do it. I just heard last night on the news about 44 people that had gotten tats had infections. Nasty. Just too nasty.. Has anyone not heard of HIV, hepatitis.? It happens even through tats it can happen............
