My turtles please please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Okay well first I got one and the lady from petsmart said this is all you need and handed me a little thing(not even a tank) my mom bought it and we put the turtle in it. I did more research and figured out what it really needed. Anyways now I have two turtle(yellow bellies) their a little smaller than your palm.I bought a rock to put in their so they can have someland but then they have no room to swim. Its only a 10 gallon tank. so i was wondering what can i put in the tank that floats so i can fill the tank up.





ps- i ordered a bigger tank and it comes in 3 weeks.

i think they have these floating docks for turtles, and they're really buoyant, but only if your turtles are light enough


they're made for turtles, and they have a size made for a 10 gallon tank, but seeing that you're gonna get a bigger tank, maybe you'll want to get a bigger rock or something?








and since you have 3 weeks before your tank comes, maybe you can get a general plan so that the tank looks perfect, and everything will fit. that's what i would do
Reply:Floating basking sites are a bad idea. Look for a cheap one you can attach with suction cups or wires over the edge.





It is always frustrating when people buy live animals without doing the research first, but hopefully you will learn from this experience.

stack rocks so the turtle can get out or a log . dont put the water so high
Reply:you should also have a light bulb or a heat source over the rock so the turtles can bask like they do with the sun in the wild.
